Steps

  1. Mix besan, yogurt, ginger, chili paste, and salt to form batter.
  2. Add fruit salt just before steaming and mix gently.
  3. Pour into greased tray and steam for 15–20 minutes.
  4. Prepare tempering with mustard seeds, sesame seeds, and curry leaves.
  5. Pour tempering over dhokla and cut into squares.
  6. Serve with green chutney.
